Hey there, I’m Jack Given, an indie folk singer-songwriter from a small town in Fife, Scotland. Music has always been my heartbeat, and over the years, it’s evolved into something I can’t imagine living without.

I first picked up a guitar when I was young, and it didn’t take long before I realized that music wasn’t just a hobby for me—it was my calling. After completing a Bachelor's degree in music at the University of the Highlands and Islands, I started to dive deeper into songwriting, drawing inspiration from the world around me and the people I meet along the way.

My sound blends introspective lyrics with acoustic warmth, touching on themes of love, personal growth, and the natural world. I find a lot of inspiration in artists like Paolo Nutini, FINNEAS, and Lizzie McAlpine—who balance vulnerability with beautiful melodies. Over the years, my music has taken me from intimate shows in Scotland to international performances, including the Festival of Music in Bordeaux, France.

These days, I’m based in the Scottish Highlands. The landscapes here have opened up new creative doors for me, and I’m currently working on my debut EP, Highland Sessions. The Highlands have given me a space to connect more deeply with my songwriting, allowing me to express myself in ways I never thought possible. I’m excited for this next chapter, and I can’t wait to share the journey with you.
